Fridgenie Terms of Service

By using Fridgenie ("the app"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Fridgenie Does

Fridgenie is a kitchen inventory management and recipe discovery app. It helps you track what's in your kitchen, find recipes based on your ingredients, and manage shopping lists.

2. Your Account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Fridgenie
• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
• You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen

3. AI-Generated Content

Recipe suggestions are generated by AI and are provided for inspiration. We make no guarantees about:

• Nutritional accuracy of suggested recipes
• Allergen information — always verify ingredients if you have allergies
• Cooking times and temperatures — use your own judgment

4. Household Sharing

When you share a household with others, they can view and modify shared data (pantry items, shopping lists). You're responsible for who you share your household invite code with.

5. Acceptable Use

Don't use Fridgenie to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Abuse the AI features or API
• Reverse engineer the app

6. Availability

We strive to keep Fridgenie available, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

Fridgenie is provided "as is." We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to food safety issues, allergic reactions, or data loss.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
